Surfrider Foundation Outer Banks is responsible for coordinating the Adopt-A-Beach program in Dare County. This program involves individual, business, and organization sponsors willing to adopt a local public beach access and keep it clean at a minimum of four times a year. Learn more here.
Surfrider Foundation Outer Banks is led by a team of local, dedicated volunteers who care deeply about protecting the ocean, waves, and beaches of the Outer Banks. The chapter's Executive Committee is responsible for developing the chapter's vision and priority projects, and for overseeing mission implementation. This work is not possible without local leadership and we are always looking for strong additions to our team. Learn more here.
