We’re back! The Surfrider Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of our Outer Banks Chapter, powered by a dedicated team of passionate local volunteers. With a strong vision for 2025, we’re gearing up for an exciting year filled with opportunities to protect and enjoy our ocean, waves, and beaches.
Our Vision for 2025
Our goal is to re-establish and support a thriving network of volunteers and partnerships to implement key programs such as:

Adopt-a-Beach Program – Connecting communities to the shoreline through hands-on conservation.

Ocean Friendly Restaurants – Encouraging sustainable dining practices to reduce plastic pollution.

Beach Cleanups – Organizing impactful events to keep our beaches free of litter.
By strengthening these initiatives, we aim to reaffirm Surfrider’s presence as a leading organization in OBX for ocean advocates and community-driven environmental action.
